Alone in the Dark is a survival-horror game developed by Hydravision Entertainment and Eden Games for multiple platforms, included the PC, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii. The special PlayStation 3 adaptation has been delayed until Q3 of 2008, but is expected to contain exclusive episodic content.
Gameplay
Alone in the Dark is set up in episodic sections where users can replay or skip parts of the game. At the end of each section, there is a suspenseful ending with a teaser promoting the next section of the game. After loading a saved game, a recap of the previous episode displays those tasks necessary to complete. Some actions in the game will require completion of mini-tasks in order to continue gameplay. Fire plays a major role, performing several actions that determine the levels necessary to complete.
