In the game Alone in the Dark there are numerous used for lighters. The most common being lighting something on fire, i.e. Molotov cocktails. The lighter can also be used with an aerosol can to create a small flamethrower. You can also use the lighter fluid in various ways: creating bullets that also have fire damage, creating a sticky bomb with the use of tape. You receive the lighter in episode 2, however if you start the game anytime after episode 3, you will receive a lighter automatically in your inventory.
