Alone in the Dark has faced several setbacks during the course of production and had the release date changed three times throughout the course of one week in January. Originally, the game was slated for release March 2008 but then was first set back to September and then pushed forward to sometime in May. The release date for the game was finally set for June 24, 2008 for the PC, Xbox 360, Wii and PS2. The PS3 version is due Q3 2008 due to the game's poor performance on the PS3
