Acting
Fernandez has trained as an actress at Manhattan's New Actors Workshop, and starred with Luke Wilson in the 2006 music video for Willie Nelson's "Maria (Shut Up and Kiss Me)."
Activism
According to Ballesta's official site, she has been involved in several environmental and anti-poverty causes, including the United Nations' micro-loan programs and Greenpeace's efforts to prevent sea floor pollution. She is also reportedly involved in a charitable organization called Triball in her native Spain. The group spearheads an effort to revitalize the red-light district along Madrid's Ballesta Street.
