The Alltel Scoop is a cell phone from LG exclusively for the Alltel network. The cell phone has a "candybar" design and a keyboard to encourage text messaging, the phone's major upgrade from the LG Rumor.

CNET rates the Scoop at a 7.3/10, or a "very good" rating. They agree that the keyboard is a step up from the Rumor and that the Bluetooth and voice-dialing are worthwhile features.On the flipside, they argue that the photo quality leaves much to be desired, especially as the camera has no camera flash or "self-portrait" mirror.
