Allen Toussaint is an award-winning American musician, songwriter, and pianist from New Orleans, as well as one of the most influential producers of his time. Toussaint greatly influenced American music with his timeless hits, including his 1961 hit, Ernie K-Doe’s "Mother-in-Law;" that managed to make it to the number one spot on the national charts.
