Aljazeera.net is the website for Al Jazeera English, a news network headquartered in Doha, Qatar. It is the English language arm of the Al Jazeera network, and is the first major international news network to be based in the Middle East.

Aljazeera.net launched in 2006 as part of the introduction of the new news network Al Jazeera English. The website currently receives over 22 million visits every month, of which nearly half are from the United States and Canada.
