Alison Sweeney is an American actress that stars as Samantha Brady on the soap opera Days of our Lives and is the host of NBC's reality show The Biggest Loser. She is currently writing a book that is tentatively titled The Mommy Diet, and chronicles how she lost weight after having two children. Sweeney and husband Dave Sanov welcomed a baby girl named Megan Hope Sanov on January 12, 2009. Megan Hope weighed 6 lbs., 7 oz. Sweeney's rep, Carrie Simons, reported, "Both mommy and baby, and daddy too, are doing well. She's still in hair and makeup from her day on the set!
