Aliens vs Predator Walkthrough

Aliens vs Predator is a first-person shooter developed by Rebellion Developments and published by Sega. It was released on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC on February 16, 2010. The game is the combination of two movie franchise: Alien and Predator, two science-fiction cult movies.

Aliens vs Predator has a single player campaign and a multiplayer mode. The campaign is divided into three stories, each of them put the player in command of a different character: a marine, an alien and a predator. The gameplay is different depending on the character used.

Story

The story of Aliens vs Predator is different for each character. As a marine, the player has to investigate a human colony on a remote planet, under the attack of unknown forces. The marine has to put back the power in the colony and save the people remaining there. As a predator, the player takes the control of a young predator who has to prove himself to the other of his race. He will investigate the planet where other predators has been found dead and look for old relics, important for the predator's culture. As an alien, the player takes control of a xenomorph, captured by humans for experiment, who finds a way to escape and follow his queen's orders to escape and kill the humans.

Gameplay

In the single player and multiplayer mode, three characters can be chosen and the gameply is different for each of them.

The marine's gameplay is similar to other first-person shooter game. The player has a choice of weapons to kill aliens and predators. The environment are most of the time very dark, a lamp has to be used to survive, as well as flares.

The predator is a lot of fun to play because of all the technology he can use. First, the predator kills with blades but will unlock several weapons through the campaign like a spear, a disc, mines and a laser. The predator can hide himself using a cloaking device and can jump very high. He also has two kinds of vision: the heat vision to detect humans, and the alien vision to spot xenomorphs. The best way to play the predator is to hide and stay on high ground. Lure the marines away from their group and kill them one by one quietly.

The alien is very fast and can hide in the shadow. He has the ability to walk on walls, so he can surprise any intruders. The alien uses claws and tails to defeat his enemies.
