Aliens vs Predator is a first-person shooter developed by Rebellion Developments and published by Sega. In the mission Ruins for the alien, the player will face a new kind of marine and will have to defeat a predator in order to harvest it and create a new breed of xenomorph.

1. You will be facing a new type of enemy, some kind of "Super Marines". The temple you are in has a locked building and you have to get inside. There are enemies all around the place, so I suggest you locate them first and eliminate one by one.
2. Then, go to the highest building with the four statues and enter the vent at the center. Go down and you will step on a pressure plate. There are two more to activate.
3. The two plates are on the left and right of the plates you first activated, but are protected by a guard. Kill everyone and activate the plates. This will open a vent right near one of the last two pressure plates. Follow the tunnel and exit in the building.
4. Harvest the two scientists and destroy the power source on the second level. A gate will open and you can go to the next area. Kill the soldier on the way.
5. In the next area, you will have to fight two Predators. Both of them are in the lowest area of the temple. Locate them with the red glowing and keep attacking them. Some aliens will be helping you. Wait for them to be on the ground and face them. Protect yourself and counter attack so you will have a chance to grab them. Push the buttons during the fight as indicated on your screen. You will need few grabs and some attack to defeat them.
6. An Elite Predator will then appear and you will be alone for this fight. Locate him first and wait to face him. When he approaches you, protect yourself and push the light attack button when it is written on the screen. Then you can grab him. Repeat the process. If he escapes, follow him and perform some heavy attack. If you are close enough, it will hurt him and force him to attack you. So you can protect yourself and counter attack. It will take a dozen grab to defeat him. If you don't have life, retreat and wait for your health to replenish. When the Predator has no more life, you will be able to harvest him.
7. A new type of alien has been created. Congratulations.
