Alien vs Predator is the 2004 film that pits two popular characters against one another, the Aliens and the Predators. Opening weekend Alien vs Predator grossed $38,291,056 with a total gross of $80,282,231.

An archaeological team along with other experts come across a pyramid deep below Antarctica. Inside the pyramid they find that the Predators have held a Alien Queen captive for her eggs which she lays every 100 years. Predator warriors are tested by fighting the offspring of the Aliens. The humans end up in an all out battle with the Predators and the Aliens.

Between the Predators' dripping their glow-in-the-dark green blood and the Aliens' getting their rubber cement mucous all over everything, this is certainly a very sticky movie, though not, ultimately, a very frightening or commanding one. — The New York Times
