Alicia Silverstone, a long time Vegan, recently posed nude in a commercial for PETA. The commercials were scheduled to be aired on Comcast cable systems in the Houston, Texas area in the fall of 2007 but were pulled by the cable provider due to Silverstone's nudity. The ad spots still ran in Dallas on the Food Network, E! and Lifetime stations.
