Alicia Keys recently said that "gangsta rap" was a ploy to convince black people to kill each other. Keys wears an AK-47 pendant that allegedly signals strength and power, according to Blender magazine. She said she was reading some of the books by members of the Black Panthers. Keys also suggests the theory that the government and media wanted to stop the rise of another great black leader, which could have led to the murders of Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G.
