Alice Sebold is a bestselling author of three novels, including The Lovely Bones. A film adaptation of Bones directed by Peter Jackson.

Career
Alice Sebold attended the University of Syracuse to major in Literature. While trying to launch her burgeoning career as a writer she was attacked and raped in a campus park. She used that experience as a jumping off point for her nationally hailed debut work Lucky. Sebold has gone on to write two other novels The Almost Moon and The Lovely Bones. The latter will be released as a film adaptation in the winter of 2008.-
