You can now get Alice for the iPad and according to The Huffington Post the iPad makes reading a whole new experience. Newspapers, magazines and publishers are scrambling to create iPad Apps tailored for use on the tablet. The programmers have come up with a 21st-century pop-up book. GIGAOM states the new iPad and the Alice app is the future of books. The new app is made by Atomic Antelope which makes apps for the iPhone. Chris Stevens is one of the creators of Alice on iPad and is half of the two person company Atomic Antelope, one based in London and the other in Seattle, Washington.
In an article written by Stevens, he tells how when he and his partner Ben took on the challenge of making Alice in Wonderland an eBook for the iPad that they never dreamed it would become number one out of all of the other kids books available, this includes those by Disney, Amazon and even Marvel.
