Plot Synopsis
Alice tells the story of an upper-class Manhattan woman named Alice Tate, played by Mia Farrow. She's been married for 16 years to stockbroker Doug Tate, played by William Hurt. Alice meets a neighbor named Joe, played by Joe Mantegna, who she thinks about having an affair with. By the end of the movie, Alice learns about herself, her family and her husband. Cybill Shepherd co-stars as Nancy Brill. Alec Baldwin co-stars as Ed and Bernadette Peters plays the role of Muse.
