Alhazen is a medieval arabic scientist and mathematician He was born circa 965 in Basra, Iraq and died 1040. Alhazen lived most of his live in Cairo, Egypt. He is regarded as the "father of modern optics". He well known for his book "The Optics". In addition, he built the first camera obscura and pinhole camera.
