Crumpler had previously spent his entire NFL career with the Atlanta Falcons before being released on February 15, 2008. NFL Career
After being drafted by the Falcons in 2001, Crumpler debuted on September 23 against the Carolina Panthers. During his time with Atlanta, Crumpler scored 35 touchdowns and had 316 receptions for 4,212 yards. His stats earned him a selection to the Pro Bowl five times in a row from 2003 to 2007.
