Alfred Molina is an English film, television, and stage actor who has starred in such films as Magnolia, Chocolat, Frida, Spider-Man 2, and The Da Vinci Code.
Life and Career
Alfred Molina was born in London, England to a father who was a waiter and chauffeur and a mother who was a housekeeper. He decided from a young age that he wanted to be an actor and attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
He debuted on the big screen with a small role in Raiders of the Lost Ark but really made critics take notice of him with his performance in Letter to Brezhnev (1985).
Throughout he has continued his work on the stage. His most recent blockbuster appearance has been as the character of Doctor Octopus in Spider-Man 2.
