Alfred Hitchcock

Dubbed the "Master of Suspense," British director Alfred Hitchcock greatly influenced the world of cinema with suspense film classics like Psycho, Rear Window, Vertigo, North by Northwest and The Birds Movie. He frequently worked with Hollywood greats such as Jimmy Stewart, Cary Grant and Grace Kelly, and also made his mark on television with the popular series Alfred Hitchcock Presents.

One of Hitchcock's signatures became the cameo appearances he made in most of his films. Most times you'd miss him if you blinked, but viewers with sharp eyes could usually see him in an obscure background setting, often carrying a musical instrument.
