Canadian professional hockey player Alexandre Picard plays with the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League.

Picard was drafted 85th overall in the 2003 NHL draft by the Philadelphia Flyers. He continued to play in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, for the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles and the Halifax Mooseheads, for two years after the draft. In 2005, Picard joined the Flyers for his NHL debut and split his first three seasons between the Flyers and their American Hockey League affiliate, the Philadelphia Phantoms. On February 25, 2008, he was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning.
