A family owned winery, Alexander Valley Vineyards was built by Maggie and Harry Wetzel in the renowned Alexander Valley appellation from which it takes its name. Their benchmark wine, CYRUS, is likewise named after Cyrus Alexander the man the valley is named for. CYRUS is a limited production, proprietary red wine which represents the winery's rich history. Three generations of the Wetzel family now run the vineyards and winery, which is located on Highway 128 in Northern Sonoma County, California.
