The U.S. Department of Justice is investigating the South Carolina Highway Patrol after several videos recorded by patrol car dash board cameras surfaced showing officers behaving inappropriately. Officer Alexander Richardson is recorded chasing a man who was fleeing on on foot, through an apartment complex, hitting the man with his cruiser to stop him. The chase was through a residential neighborhood, passing close by a playground.
