Russian professional hockey player Alexander Radulov plays for the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League. In July of 2008, Radulov signed with the Salavat Ufa in Russia, even though he had one year remaining on his contract with the Predators.The Hockey News: Battle sure to ensue over Radulov's three-year, $13 million Russian deal (July 11, 2008) The NHL is reportedly trying to work with the Continental Hockey League to settle the matter.

NHL Career
Radulov was drafted 15th overall in the 2004 NHL draft by the Nashville Predators. He was assigned to the Quebec Remparts in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League for two seasons after the draft. Radulov made his NHL debut with the Predators in 2006. He scored 18 goals and 19 assists in 64 games during his rookie season, breaking Predators franchise records for goals and assists by a rookie. Radulov played 81 regular season games with the Predators during the 2007-08 season, missing one game after he was suspended by the league following a hit from behind that injured Steve Bernier.Career Highlights
