College Football Career
Prior to playing professionally, Smith played college football with the Stanford Cardinal football team in the NCAA. He started three seasons, recording 107 receptions for 1,291 yards and eight touchdowns. NFL Career
After college, Smith was selected 71st overall in the 2005 NFL draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He made his professional debut that same season, playing in all 16 games and recoding 41 receptions for 367 yards and two touchdowns.
