The town of Vulcan which calls itself the “Official Star Trek Capital of Canada” formed the “Vulcan Association of Science and Trek” with the express intent of constructing their own starship. The result is the FX6-1995-a which is a 31 foot version of a Constitution Class Federation Starship similar to the Enterprise and sports plaques giving its hull number which includes the designator for the Vulcan airport and the year that the model was unveiled. Brief History

The Canadian provincial district of Alberta was formed in 1882 and the Governor General of Canada, John Douglas Sutherland Campbell the Marquess of Lorne, named the territory after his wife Princess Louise Caroline Alberta who was the fourth daughter of Queen Victoria and the royal consort Prince Albert. At the time it became a provincial district Alberta only contained the portion of its current dimensions that lie south of 55° N lat and west of 111° but when it became a full province in 1905 the present boundaries were established. http://culture.alberta.ca/about/emblems/motto.aspx
