Canadian Actor, songwriter and talk show host Alan Thicke played the role of "Jason Seaver" on the ABC sitcom Growing Pains from 1985 to 1992. Thicke was the host of his own Canadian talk show in the 1980s. Thick has composed the theme songs for a variety of sitcoms, and television shows including the theme to the Wheel of Fortune, Diff'rent Strokes and The Facts of Life. In 2008 he completed filming his latest movie RoboDoc.
