Career
Alan Moore began his comics writing career on the seminal British comics anthology series 2000 AD in the early 1980s. He won his first Eagle Award for V for Vendetta, a nihilist tale of anarchy first published in the British anthology magazine Warrior.Alan Moore Fan Site: BioMoore's early success brought him to DC Comics, where he helped revitalize Saga of the Swamp Thing. While at DC, Moore was commissioned to create a series using a number of Charleston Comics characters the publisher recently acquired. Moore is an active independent comics creator and mainstream novelist. Several of his works have been adapted to film.
