Soul singer Al Wilson scored his biggest hit in 1968, with the R&B; single "The Snake," produced by Johnny Rivers of "Secret Agent Man" fame. Other popular Wilson songs include "Do What You Gotta Do," a cover of the Creedence Clearwater Revival song "Lodi," "The La La Peace Song" and "I've Got a Feeling We'll Be Seeing Each Other Again." His final appearance on the Billboard Chart came in 1979, and since then he was a fixture of the club/lounge circuit.
Wilson died from kidney failure on April 21, 2008 at the age of 68. He is survived by wife Patricia, two daughters and 13 grandchildren.
