There are 26 branches on five continents and the organization's name means "Fire of Torah." Aish HaTorah International is the target of a complaint made by the Council for American-Islamic Relations after a DVD called Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against The West. The DVD was distributed by the Clarion Fund, a non-profit organization that's primary focus is on the threats of radical Islam. The Council for American-Islamic Relations claim that the DVD promotes the McCain campaign.
Three people who are associated with the Clarion Fund are or have been employees of Aish HaTorah International, including the Canadian director of the film.
