AirAttack HD is an action game for iPad available on the App Store. It was developed and is being published by Art in Games. The game is similar to a classic arcade game, in which you control an aircraft from the top down and need to destroy enemy forces and evade enemy missiles. The game has 8 levels and each level features a boss fight at the end. There are various types of enemies (58 in total) and several different weapons. Weapons can be upgraded at multiple checkpoints in every level.
AirAttack HD - Weapons and Abilities
- Cannon: Your default weapon. An automatic machine gun. You can increase damage and rate of fire by upgrading it. Unlimited ammunition.
- Auto Rockets: Rockets that are launched automatically at enemies. Limited ammunition.
- Side Planes: Two planes, one on each side of your main aircraft. They have a regular automatic machine gun. Unlimited ammunition, but the planes can be destroyed.
- Timewarp: Temporally slows down enemies.
- Shield: A temporary shield that can be activated to shield you from enemy fire. Limited duration and usage.
- Bomb: Heavy bombs that can be dropped on ground forces. Limited ammunition.
- Turret: An additional machine gun that automatically shoots at enemies. Unlimited ammunition.
- Extra Life: Extra lives.
- Lighting: A beam of light that damages enemy aircrafts. Limited duration and ammunition.
- Super Rockets: Strong rockets that have to be launched manually, but aim automatically at the enemy. Limited ammunition.
