Rules and Regulations Regarding Air Travel in the US
The TSA, or Traffic Safety Administration has been tasked with keeping travelers safe. They have established a number of rules and regulations in order to do this.Many items that were previously allowed in carry-ons or even in checked luggage are now prohibited. We have provided a list of prohibited items on this page, but for the latest information, always check the TSA website directly.
In addition, airport security itself has been tightened. Expect to remove your shoes, belt, empty your pockets and be scanned prior to your flight. You will need to allow time for this.
