Plot
After President James Marshall (Harrison Ford) makes a speech in Russia about the United States' policy of not negotiating with terrorists, his plane is hijacked by radical Soviet nationalists. These terrorists seize control of Air Force One with the help of a rogue secret service officer, and demand for their imprisoned general to be released. President Marshall, a Vietnam veteran takes out the terrorists one by one and is eventually able to regain control of the plane. However, in the process of regaining control of the plane Air Force One was badly damaged and is in an unlandable condition. President Marshall fends off a squadron of radical Soviet fighter jets, and ends up being rescued by the Air Force in a daring mid air rescue.
