Founded in 1937, Air Canada is the largest airline in Canada and the 12th largest by fleet size in the world. It is one of 18 airlines in the Star Alliance, founded on May 14, 1997.
Fifteen people on Air Canada flight AC34 from Sydney to Vancouver, British Columbia sustained minor injuries when the flight encountered turbulence just an hour northeast of Honolulu, Hawaii. Flight AC34 diverted to Honolulu and was able land safely. Two passengers and two flight attendants were treated at nearby hospitals and later released.
