Aion Tower of Eternity

Aion: Tower of Eternity also known as Aion or The Tower of Aion, is a MMORPG developed by NCsoft and published by the same company on September 22, 2009. http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/aion/

The video game is rated T for Teen and it was released exclusively for PC. Aion uses the CryEngine developed by Crytek, the same engine that was used in Far Cry video game series.http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/aion/

In Aion the action takes place in Atreia, a fantasy world where two major factions are trying to prevent a Balaur to be summoned and destroy their homeland.

The story of the game starts when Aion, created the humans, who lived in Atreia. He also created Balaurs to guard them, but later these creatures became obsessed by power. Five of them were more powerful than the rest and they asked Aion to grant them even more power. When Aion, refused, the Balaurs declared war against him and they were known as Dragon Lords.

Seeing what happened to the Balaurs he created, Aion decided to summon twelve Empyrean Lords to protect the Tower of Eternity.

Eventually the war between these forces started and some of the Empyrean Lords died in battle. The tower was also destroyed and Atreia was divided in two. There were several Empyrean Lords who joined the dark side of the world, known as Asmodians, while the rest, who lived in the upper part are known as Elyos.

Aion: Tower of Eternity introduces the PvPvE system where players will have the chance to battle against each other in order to control different fortresses.

The game features 2 factions and four primary classes: Warrior, Mage, Scout and Priest. Additional there are eight specialized classes: Templar, Gladiator, Sorcerer, Spirit Master, Assassin, Ranger, Cleric and Chanter.

Each class has different skills and abilities and in order to advance in the game, players will have to complete different tasks and quests. The character can also learn different crafting skills such as: tailoring, alchemy, and cooking.
