  • Singer/songwriter Aimee Mann first enjoyed pop success with her band 'Til Tuesday, which released an early-MTV hit video for the song "Voices Carry." She went on to much critical acclaim as a solo artist, winning an Academy Award nomination for her track "Save Me" that was featured in and even inspired some of Paul Thomas Anderson's film Magnolia. TIME: The Sweet Sound of Magnolia (December 13, 1999) Mann also won a Grammy Award for the packaging of her 2005 album, The Forgotten Arm.
