• Rangers are one of the classes in Age of Conan and are mostly known for being equipped with a bow and arrow. Rangers can shoot their weapons in one of two ways: through first-person crosshair view or by third-person cone view. There's been no universal preference either way, and it's recommended by the developers that players try out both schemes to determine which one for them is better.

  • Shooting techniques

    First person: The player will have a crosshair on the screen. They can manually aim and shoot at the enemy. Players can shoot farther in first-person rather than third person. Third person: The player will have a cone-like target on the screen. Everything on the cone is a target, and it automatically adjusts to different targets depending on if a player changes direction during his or her aim. The cone can be turned off.
