In Hyborian Adventures, there are three playable races to choose from: the Aquilonians, the Cimmerians, and the Stygians. Although several of the game's classes are available to all characters, there are some roles that can only be accessed by a certain race. The Stygians, for example, are the only ones who can become mages while the Bear Shaman, in the priest category, is exclusive to the Cimmerians. Cultural and ethnic differences will also be reflected through physical traits, religious backgrounds, structural architecture, and economic power.
