Necromancers are in the mage class in Age of Conan. They are available to the Stygian race. Necromancers are able to reanimate the dead or summon undead pets to do their bidding.

Necromancers can summon the undead and soon after, control them to either destroy humans or cast their own spells of evil. Necromancers can summon pets based on a point system, with a normal necromancer earning 8 points by level 75. A necromancer can have as many as 11 pet points. Each pet summoned can vary in strength, meaning that a necromancer can have 11 weak pets, or several strong ones. They are able to equip throwing weapons, crossbows and daggers. They are only able to wear cloth or silk armor. Like the demonologist, necromancers can sacrifice some of their health for mana.
