The Dark Templar is one of the 12 classes in the [:Category:MMOPGs | MMORPG]] Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. The Dark Templar can only be played by people who have chosen the Cimmerian or Aquilonian race. The Dark Templar is part of the soldier archetype and can fill a variety of roles such as tank, DPS and healing.

Dark Templars are able to turn damage given to them into health and can give up some of their life force to heal all members of his team. Due to the "evil" nature of their spells, Dark Templars suffer limited mobility when using certain abilities. They receive bonuses when their party members are injured in battle, and can equip shields.
