Age of Conan Crafting

There are five different skills to choose from and a character may only have on crafting skill. They include: Weaponsmith, armorsmith, gemcutter, alchemist, and architect. Crafting is tied to the various equipments that you use during the process and can be learned and different establishments and structures. There are six tiers of crafted goods and each tier is achieved by performing quests.
Crafting

Your skills in crafting are dependent on your resource gathering skills. You can choose one crafting profession, however you can learn all six of the resource gathering skills: mining, prospecting, skinning, stonecutting, weaving, and woodcutting. Finished products require various materials and are affected by the quality of the materials you use. You can only obtain crafting quests once you hit level 40.
Crafting Professions
1. Weaponsmith: This smith specializes in making various forms of weaponry. Besides creating arms, the smith may also supply weapon enhancement materials such as whetstones and polishes.
2. Armorsmith: This smith specializes in creating various protective gear as well as way to enhance this equipment. The smith can provide a wide range of styles from leather to full plate.
3. Gemcutter: This smith adds gems to decorate and enhance various equipment. Some gems may only have minor effects, but others may carry some kind of power with them. They also can offer modifications like counterweights.
4. Alchemist: This smith specializes in creating compounds with various ingredients and may provide useful consumables for other players.
5. Architect: This smith designs buildings, siege engines, and other buildings for the protection of his allies' cities.
Resource Gathering Skills
1. Mining: resource gathering for iron, copper, tin, etc.
2. Prospecting: mine for metals such as gold, silver
3. Skinning: harvest leather from dead animals
4. Stonecutting: gather sandston, granite, basalt, and rarer stones
5. Weaving: gather cloth resources such as cotton and wool
6. Woodcutting: harvest different types of wood like ash, yew, and oak.
