Age of Conan Combos

The combat system in the MMORPG Hyborian Adventures allows players to perform combos while fighting. Combos are especially powerful attacks that string together several smaller attacks to form a stronger ability, and are unlocked after reaching level 20.
Combos System

Each class is given access to its own separate tree of combos. For instance, the Guardian Class has combos such as “Sweep” and “Enraging Strike,” whereas the Herald of Xotli has combos like “Burn to Death” and “Desecrating Essence.” Combos are initiated by triggering abilities from the action bar, in conjunction with a specific keystroke. Fighter classes expend stamina when using a combo, while spell-casting classes expend mana. Demonologists and Necromancers in particular utlize the Spellweaving system during combos. Spellweaving is the system used by casters to use magic. While preparing a spell for an attack, the caster is frozen in place as they add new spells to the “weave,” which contributes to the combo that will be unleashed.
