Combat in Hyborian Adventures differs from other MMOs as you are able to target specific body parts when you attack rather than clicking one button and waiting for the enemy to die. This Real Time Combat System gives you greater control over your character and eventually you can choose to attack multiple enemies or multiple targets on one enemy.

Game Info
Age of Conan is set in a low fantasy, pseudo-historical ancient world called the Hyborian Age. The world is filled with cruel gods, mythical creatures, lost civilizations and a struggling human race. Although Conan is the current king, he is losing his hold on the people and it is up to you to carve your name in history. -
Combat Training
Since the combat differs from typical MMOs, there is basic combat training in the beginning of the game where you learn about the directional slashing. The instructions allow you to get the hang of the new combat system as well as introduce you to the world. It will take actual gameplay to get used to the various slashes as well as being able to move your armor in three ways to deflect attacks. You will also learn that more complex moves will trigger a 'fatality'. Combat is also different as the AI alters their defense if you attack the same way. -
