• The Aquilonians are one of three playable races in Hyborian Adventures. Far more advanced than either the Stygians or the Cimmerians, the Aquilonians operate under a highly organized social hierarchy with significant value placed on education and status. Intellectuals and soldiers are both well respected by society for their dedication to discipline.

    Although magic plays an important role in their way of life, the practice of sorcery is widely frowned upon as an evil pursuit. Priests, on the other hand, are regarded as benevolent figures whose works are associated with their beloved god, Mitra.

    The typical Aquilonian is of average height with predominantly gray eyes and auburn hair although there are some variations depending on which province he or she originated from. Despite neither being as hulky as their barbarian counterparts or as magically attuned as the Stygians, they are considered to be great fighters.
