Afterburn is a new comic book based movie that Tobey Maguire is producing. The story takes place one year after a solar flare has burned half of the planet Earth, in which treasure hunters go back to the burned portion of the planet and look to extract items of value like the Mona Lisa and Rosetta Stone. Along the way, they have to battle other rivals and various mutant creatures. Maguire and producer Neal Moritz are teaming up to produce the movie alongside Relativity Media, who has picked up the rights to the movie.
