There is currently no information available about trophies being supported in Afro Samurai, the action game developed by Namco Bandai for the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Although sites have been providing information about Afro Samurai's achievements since December 2008, there is still no word about trophy support for the PS3 version of the game. The game Afro Samurai is based on the Afro Samurai animated series, which airs on Spike TV. In the game, there are two coveted headbands, which can only be obtained by defeating the previous owner in combat. Afro's father, who wore the Number One headband, was killed and now Afro is out for revenge. His goal is to win both headbands and become the greatest samurai in the land.

Previews of Afro Samurai praise both the game's cel-shaded graphics and the simple combat system. The game features basic beat-em-up gameplay. The moves are straightforward: light attack, heavy attack, block, jump and kick.
