Afro Samurai Game Trailer

This page contains a collection of trailers and videos for Afro Samurai. Afro Samurai is an action game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 based on an anime and manga of the same name. In the game, you assume the role of Afro, a samurai trying to avenge the death of his father and become the Number One warrior in all of Japan.

Focus Mode

One of the most significant features of Afro Samurai's action-based gameplay is "focus" mode, an ability you can activate during combat. Hold down the Left Trigger button and the game will slow down and go black-and-white, allowing you to get kills more easily and dodge attacks.

There's also a special "over-focus" mode that lasts longer than normal focus. In over-focus you enter the same focus state, except every attack you do will result in an instant kill. A number of instant kill moves are available in over-focus, like an attack where you press jump twice and Afro pounces on an enemy, after which you hit any button to execute and instant kill.
