The African Safari Wildlife Park is an animal park in Port Clinton, Ohio, just ten miles west of Cedar Point. The park’s main attraction is its safari, in which you ride through the park in your car and feed the animals. They also offer camel rides.
Once you’ve paid your admission, you can ride through the park as many times as you like and they also provide you with a bucket of food for you to feed the animals with. You can also purchase more food if you need. At the Safari Junction, they have pig races and educational shows. Also located there is the Safari Grill, a restaurant.http://www.sbresort.com/ohio-attractions/african-safari-wildlife-park.html
African Safari Wildlife Park History
Surprisingly little information is available on the park's history. Information on when it was founded and who was responsible for it does not seem to be available online. If you need that information, your best bet seems to be contacting or visiting the park itself.http://www.africansafariwildlifepark.com/directions.html
African Safari Wildlife Park
This is a video of the African Safari Wildlife Park filmed by a tourist. The park is basically a drive-through zoo, allowing you to drive through in your car and experience the wildlife up close. Here we see what looks like some llamas, some buffaloes, and some antelopes. Feeding the animals from your car is encouraged.
