Affiliate Marketing is an Internet marketing practice in which individuals can earn a commission for directing traffic to other sites. Each time a customer completes a purchase by using an affiliate link, the affiliate is awarded a percentage of the revenue. Individuals can join affiliate programs or networks. Referrals are tracked using an alphanumeric identifier located in the affiliate's custom link code.
