AEY Inc. is a ammunitions company that had contracted with the United States government to provide weapons and ammunition to Afghanistan. The company's contract was suspended on March 27, 2008 pending investigation. The issue revolves around the company supplying 40 year old Chinese ammunition, which is against Federal regulations. In addition to the ammunition being provided from an illegal source, it was also improperly packaged and showed signs of corrosion, which could lead to failure during use. It has also been revealed that the owner of the company, Efraim Diveroli has a criminal record as well. The company was originally founded as a printing shop by the current owner's grandfather.
